California Nursery Garden Club

The California Nursery Garden Club members are people who enjoy and volunteer in our historic park. The gardens are maintained by volunteers who enjoy working in the rose garden, cactus garden, historic shade garden, historic trees, and flower gardens.

Fremont Family Resource Center

For the past 22 years, the Fremont Family Resource Center's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program has been dedicated to offering free tax preparation services to income-eligible individuals and families. Our commitment extends beyond tax preparation; we also provide education and support on housing and financial matters through various programs and services offered at the Fremont Family Resource Center.

Music for Minors

With your help and support, MFMII will continue its mission and reach many more children in need of music. Enrich a child’s life and your own by learning to share music in a fun-filled training class which teaches the elements of music, methodology, and classroom management through making music. MFMII welcomes community members who love music and children and know how important music is for them.

Tri-City Animal Shelter

Do you love animals and people? All volunteers must be over the age of 18 and able to commit to a two hour shift weekly for six months. Volunteers are taken on an as-needed basis and recruitment is continuous. Preference will be given to people with experience or those with an area of interest that meets an immediate need.

Volunteer shifts in our Oakland warehouse are essential to our daily impact. You’ll sort fresh produce, prepare emergency food boxes, and help our agency partners shop and load their cars with food.

Our Community Education Program conducts the 40-Hour DV Counselor Training as well as provides education and engagement opportunities for community members who seek to learn more about intimate partner violence. Our Youth Services Project empowers young people through inclusive education, support, and resources.

Kids Against Hunger Fremont

We are looking to build a team of committed volunteers we can count on to help supervise school-wide packing events. We will provide you with training from start to finish. It takes a minimum of 40 adult volunteers to successfully implement a school-wide packing event involving 500 - 2,000 students. This is a high impact, low investment opportunity to make a significant difference to feed countless hungry kids.
